Lake Arrowhead

Last Saturday we headed up to Lake Arrowhead to visit our old stomping grounds!
We started at our favorite Blue Jay restaurant, BORDERLINE.  It hasn't changed a bit, right down to the turquoise nagahide benches.  After stuffing ourselves we drove over to the Village.  We did a little shopping at the outlet stores and got some yummy hot chocolate and carmel apples at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory!
We decided to drive over to Golden Rule Lane and see the old house.  People are living there, so we couldn't go down and check it out, but everything looks the same.  We will always have a lot of great memories of living there with little kids and babies.  All and all it was a great day with the fam (minus Nate)!

I have great memories of Lake Arrowhead too...some of my favorite summers! How fun! oh, and I hope it's okay we are ripping off your children's names. I honestly didn't realize it until a few days after we named Ryan!

Julie,

I'm glad Aunt Sissie sent me your blog address because I've never had it! In fact, it's probably my fault for not asking but I'm just glad I have it now!
